We’re two brothers based in southern Germany – one in Stuttgart, one in Munich.
Birding is one of our ways to unwind – a welcome break from everyday work life.
Not A Big Year is our shared project: a way to capture and share our birding experiences, just the way we see them.
Sometimes regularly, sometimes less so – full-time jobs don’t always leave room for new reels or photos.
But when we do get out, we go all in: with a love for nature, a soft spot for tech, and an eye for detail.
The name? A nod to the famous birding challenge – the “Big Year”.
We’re not doing one. We just take our time, whenever it fits.
Though to be fair – as brothers, there’s always a tiny bit of competition in the air.
